Whole review of our stay
The cabin was nice and fun to be right on the water. We enjoyed being able to go down the hill to fish and play in the water. It was located near the rafting rentals. It was pretty nice for a VRBO. The negatives were oven kept going out, freezer door would not close, propane gas bottles were empty and we had to locate a place to fill gas bottles in the middle of cooking, the master bedroom was infested with the hugest flies and it was scary to sleep with littlerly dozens of flys in the room and bathroom. All and all we had a good stay...

Beautiful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Being on the river was awesome. The house had everything one could need and it was very clean. The check-in process was easy and the host was very communicative to my questions. We hope to be back!

Rodents and Severe Odor: Beware of Listing
We have loved this cabin and have stayed here many many times over the years however our recent visit was very disgusting. Mouse droppings were found on the dishes and later that night, we discovered a ton of large rat droppings beside our bed. We then realized that the very foul smell that permeated the cabin was rodent urine. It became very clear the cabin had a severe rat and mouse infestation. We then notified the host, who then confirmed there had been a large rodent infestation just weeks prior to our stay. But unfortunately, they have done very little to prepare the cabin after dealing with the infestation. Despite our fondness for this cabin, the new management company are currently doing a very poor job of cleaning and maintaining this property. And although we received a 75% refund and an offer for alternative accommodations, I must warn others about the severe infestation and the lack of proper cleaning. In fact it was confirmed by head of house keeping that the soft goods such as rugs, carpets and couch pillows have not been washed or shampooed since the infestation and I suspect the hard surfaces were only vacuumed at best. We have decided not to revisit until the property undergoes significant management improvements. I caution others to seek lodging elsewhere until these unresolved issues are addressed. The management's lack of interest in thorough cleaning raises doubts about their commitment to guest satisfaction.

Great getaway near Deals Gap
We needed a place to stay near what is in my opinion some of the best riding roads in the southeast US. I usually stay at hotels in Robbinsville. Wow what a difference staying at this property made. Took the experience to another level. It was clean, inviting, convenient and had everything we needed and some. For the first fifteen minutes we all complained about no internet and cell service. An hour later we were talking about how good it was to actually interact with each other and enjoy the cabin without devices. It has satellite TV and a hardline phone so not totally without outside world interaction but an awesome getaway. We plan to come back often.
