"Our Host and Hostess were delightful. Our surroundings beautiful! Both the interior and exterior memorable! The yard and pool area landscaped beautifully. Breakfast, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants, juice, yogurt, and coffee or tea. The views stunning! peaceful. My mattress dropped a bit from over use. We arrived in early Oct. so most business had shut down from the Fall. One restaurant was open for lunch and the castle wasn’t to open until Nov again. But lots of walking in nature...

"We stayed for one night after a trip to the nearby Puy du Fou. We had an excellent, spacious room for our family of four, which was sparkling clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious (especially the wide variety of homemade jams) and the garden of the property was a great advantage - beautifully quiet and plenty of room to burn some energy off for the children. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend the place. "

"Where to start? Lets be positive...the staff were all very friendly and attentive and the manager (whose name I missed but has a nice dog) was very good in dealing with my complaint and said that she had only recently joined and recognised there was a lot to do. The plan was to spend a couple of days at the hotel relaxing in the grounds and making use of the pool etc however we decided to cut short our stay due to a number of reasons; Our room was the smallest in the Chateau and not really big...

"The room was full of little flies hanging around the lights, a few of them already dead. When we pulled down the window curtain, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering a cemetery of squished flies stuck onto it - see pictures. The bathroom also did not smell very good. Definitely not recommended. Il y avait beaucoup de moucherons dans notre chambre, la plupart vivants, d'autres déjà morts, et le rideau coulissant de la fenêtre était artistiquement constellé de cadavres de moucherons...
