The Cornmill is right down by the shore of the Cree estuary and Garlieston is a fabulous old village with the Harbour Inn providing good food (advisable to book, though, as our landlady kindly told us). Lovely walks, bike rides and places of historical interest in the vicinity. "Absolutely beautiful cottage in very peaceful location. Excellent communication from Gail & Ken with helpful tips on where to go and things to see ( Glentrool, Castle Kennedy and the red deer range were fantastic). Turn left out of the cottage and stroll for a couple of minutes and you’ll even come across some llamas! The cottage was extremely comfortable and provided everything you could possibly need for a week exploring this stunning location. Definitely hope to return :)"
