The buzzing energy of Fuengirola’s beaches is part of the area’s charm, but when you feel like a change of pace, you can always head to Torreblanca Beach. Although it is still very popular, its location slightly further from the city center means it is often quieter than some of the other beaches. Come here to enjoy beautiful sea views, good facilities and a wide range of options for things to do.
As with many of the beaches in the area, Torreblanca has eye-catching dark sands. Go for a stroll along its 3,937-foot (1,200-meter) length to take in beautiful views of the sea, which is a deep blue color along this stretch of coast.
Make the most of the excellent services offered along the beach. Rent a sun lounger and beach umbrella to escape the sun, or sway in a rented hammock. Find public toilets and showers close to wherever you set up for the day.
If you like getting active, this is a great beach for you. Choose from a wide range of options such as Jet Skiing, windsurfing and kayaking. Rent a fishing boat and head out to see what you can catch. In the off-season, fishing is also permitted directly from the shore.
When you get hungry, enjoy a picnic on the sand or head to one of the many restaurants located nearby. Take in excellent views from one of the bars or restaurants located directly on the sand, or make your way inland for other dining options.
As with most of the beaches along this stretch of coast, the waters at Torreblanca Beach are relatively calm. Bring your family members of all ages here for the day and rest assured that event the littlest ones can play safely in the sea.
Drive to Torreblanca beach from downtown Fuengirola in just over 10 minutes. You can also choose to take the train from Fuengirola’s main station, as the Torreblanca station is located around a 15-minute walk from the beach.
