"There was a fair going on nearby. Because there was no A/C, windows had to stay open, after the fair was over at 11 pm, there were still noisy motorcycles passing by the window much of the night."

"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."
