"I had a great stay at Essential by Dorint Interlaken. Near train station makes travel easy and modern clean room is a plus. Breakfast was good and friendly staff added to the experience. What makes it unique it is conveniently located near shops, supermarket and restaurants. Some rooms have limited views and bit too warm but overall it is worth staying. Would surely recommend. "

"What a beautiful place to stay!! Right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also 5 minutes from Interlaken West which you walk along a quiet road to get to the hotel - very nice since the town itself can be busy. "This place was nice to stay in interlaken. Close you interlaken west station, close to markets. Interlaken is not a big town so you can walk everywhere if you have your stay booked in interlaken. Because its a self check in there is no one in the front desk to get service. If you need extra service such as towels, you would need to talk to people in the morning around 10am when they are here to clean rooms."
