"This is a unique property. It is an actual working vineyard that the Chateau, which is ancient and beautiful sits in the center. Beautiful area to stroll around the grounds even among the grape vines. Food was outstanding wine was terrific and the room was very nice. Also great buffet breakfast. Very remote so take the breakfast and spend the day exploring this beautiful wine country. Definite 5 star "

"Good breakfast and friendly staff. Hotel has an underground garage for parking. I suggest you use it as parking around the hotel is limited. We were on a 5 day trip from Spain to the Netherlands and out of the 4 x hotels, this was by far the smallest bedroom that we had. It was comfortable but very small."

"This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! The pillows were so cheap as were the amenities in the room. But like I say… I wasn’t expecting anything else and I hadn’t paid for...

"This Hotel was everything I needed for a one night stopover on my way to the Alps. My room was warm, clean and spacious The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. It represented very good value."

"Standard French near autoroute hotel. Restaurant menu promising but really let down by chaotic (but friendly) service. No drink offfered, offered the dessert menu before my main had arrived etc. Would visit again if they can fix this."

"We keep saying we won't go there again but this time we mean it. It is very conveniently place on the edge of a large retail park. The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant but there are just too many problems with the rooms. This time the air conditioning didn't work so there was a fan in the room, there was a stron smell of smoke. "Excellent service at the check in by Anthony who was professional, very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the property. We absolutely love the room, lots of space and quiet. The restaurant on site Les téléphones was gorgeous regarding the service by Lisa and Thibault and the food too. We enjoyed our stay with all of you. We definitely appreciate the excellent service at your hotel in different departments. Thank you to provide this level of service in this charming and historic place. "

Superb boutique hotel in a great location

"A fabulous small boutique hotel in a great central location for visiting major sights in Lyon. Hotel was clean , welcoming and tasteful . It is an " on demand " hotel as the staff put it so if you want water or kettle you have to request them and go and get them from reception. No frills or extras in the room , no slippers , dressing gown or fridge nor did we have a mirror in the room only one head and shoulders standard mirror in the bathroom which was a minor irritation. Room was large, with comfortable beds . We had 2 singles as I was travelling with my daughter. We had a great view of the river and full length windows that opened fully which was a bonus, made the room light and airy . I can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it, plenty of boulangerie within 2 minutes walk. If you want authentic restaurants keep away from The old town as it is very touristy and not representative of the fabulous restaurants available in Lyon All in all a great hotel for a short break . Request a river view it's definitely worth the extra cost . I will most certainly stay here again on my next visit as I have a daughter in Lyon for a year."
