"What a beautiful farm for a relaxing stay! Brice was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. He had good English language skills and was very helpful in guiding our still-developing French! There are nearby places, even on the farm, to hike on trails and explore the woods. We ate our meals on a table in the backyard watching the sheep grazing around us. All in all, a beautiful place and time! I highly recommend it!"

"Although a little difficult to find, this is a beautiful and peaceful house. The pool is large and worked really well for us, we were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 4-9. Plenty of garden space for the kids to run around and a lovely BBQ area. A couple of disappointments, firstly I must point out that some of the pictures online are not that accurate or at least for us. The main picture looking back at the house from the pool you will see a door opposite the pool with wooden shutters, this...

"As always the property was spotless clean, you will struggle to get a better location in the north of the Dordogne. Nadia's place is spacious, charming and is equipped with everything you could need and more for your stay. We have stayed here 3 times this year and we all absolutely love it. "It's well located near gorgeous villages, and the garden is beautiful. We had a lovely meal in the garden as the sun set - the exterior of the house is very atmospheric. However, the interior is in desperate need of modernising. The kitchen is rather make-shift and poorly equipped, and the bathroom is tired. With a bit of thought put in (new kitchen/bathroom) and a good clean, the property could be amazing. But for us the big problem was the steep stairs and unsafe rail at the top of the stairs...

"The hotel staff was friendly and our room was clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. The hotel is close to some restaurants, but there is no place to walk nearby the hotel. The breakfast for €8.00 was very basic, no fresh fruit and no eggs but decent coffee. "

"Lovely, quirky hotel right in the middle of the city so very convenient for everything. The receptionists were excellent, so bright and helpful. Particularly helped with the parking as it’s quite tricky when the small car park is busy. The rooms were interesting - each seems to have an individual theme with different colours and attractive vintage furniture. Very comfortable with lovely linen bedding. One small thing is that whilst they have tea and coffee in the room you have to get milk from reception which is a minor but unnecessary inconvenience. The rooms were spotless, as were the interestingly decorated communal areas. The only disappointment was the breakfast which was very standard and not so well maintained if you don’t get there first thing. Oddly, they serve your coffee in a jug with no top which means it goes cold very quickly which is very frustrating. "

"Perfectly located to stay for an early train departure for CDG. 12 minute easy walk to Centre of Angoulême for large variety of restaurants. The area is not very desirable but it is opposite the train station $ that was the objective. Very clean room but unfortunately no fridge or tea/coffee facility in room."
