"Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need....

"….and that’s exactly what we did! Our stay was better than hoped in celebrating my birthday. My fiance took me to a place he described as majestic and that it is. We could have stayed in town but the true experience of Ely was here. The sunrise and sunset out our window was magnificent! Living of the needs in life made it that more memorable. Marcus and Abby were very accessible and addressed the few minor requests we had proactively (with follow up to make sure we were happy with the results).
