"The staff at this hotel were brilliant and very welcoming. The room was exactly as advertised and the whirlpool was a great novelty for the children. The only negative was breakfast; it was very expensive and had a poor selcction - especially for children. It’s also worth noting that the pool is not available to under 16s. "

"Lovely property and Sylvie is a wonderful host. Our suite was beautifully decorated (and the AC was cool!). Sylvie provides a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and local yougurt, as well as a small selection of breads, fruit, meatt, and cheese. "We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again. "

"Charming boutique hotel with a bicycle theme. Rooms are small but well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is ideal if you arrive in Strasbourg by train yet still only a ten minute walk into the old town. Busses and streetcars are also close nearby for further travel. The 20 Euro breakfast is not a bad value with good variety not limited to croissants and coffee. I would stay again."

Excellent comfortable hotel with great breakfast

"Excellent hotel, quiet despite being right opposite the Railway Station, I was upgraded to what I believe is one of the newly refurbished rooms on arrival, lovely comfortable bed, everything was clean and worked. Small area at reception where one could purchase snacks and various alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks Excellent Breakfast with a good selection of food and drinks available in the morning, would certainly stay here again if visiting Strasbourg or just staying overnight"
