"We left the property and started refund process within just a couple of hours of arriving. Exterior of House looks nothing like the photos online: Grass was not mowed, trash was on the front porch, paint was chipping, chairs were broken and taped together, back door to house was unlocked. Interior was no better; shower floors and walls were rusty, bath mats were wet and soiled, freezer had dried blood on the interior, beds did not appear to be freshly made with clean sheets since previous...

"Property was better than expected. A peaceful beautiful location. The house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Mark and Debby were the perfect host, helpful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely return. In the future."

"Keith was amazing and so easy to communicate with. The house was great, with more than enough room. The only issue for our family was the dog. South Shore Road is very busy in that area, and we could not let the dog out without its lead even for a second. Other than that, I would give my stay and the house a 5 star!"

"Our family needed a place to stay while visiting our son and daughter in law and family in Mayfield to receive surprise news that our daughter is law is expecting with first child. There was not enough room at their home so we researched and found this gem. Interior/exterior looked brand new. Clean, well lit, enjoyed the fireplace and open kitchen, dining and living room layout. Easy access to the lake plus a fun deck, kids play area and fire pit. We had 7 in our group and this place...

"We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems.
