"The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. When we arrived, the heat had been set to 65, it was quite cold. It did take a while to warm up as it's radiant heat (in the floors). Could have used a few more necessities in the kitchen. The game room offers hours of endless fun. "

"The house was spotless. The location was close to downtown Watkins Glenn. We had all the luxuries of a hotel in a house. I would definitely recommend this house. "

"Our group had a great stay here, the home is more beautiful than the pictures. Watkins Glen was only ~20 minutes away. We didn't get the chance to go down to the lake but the view was great. The deck had plenty of space and we liked the fire pit. The host instructions were clear and responsive. Thank you for.a wonderful stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was clean and had everything you needed. The cottage is small, but we spent most of our time outside. The view was stunning and the doc was a great place to see the lake and look at the starts. This location is great to be able to explore around Seneca and Keuka lakes. "

"This home leaves you speechless with its beautiful view of the lake. It is kid friendly and has lots of room for guest. The house is nicely furnished and newly renovated but still makes you feel at home! There were even snacks as a welcoming gift. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Beautiful home, located in a rural area outside of Watkins Glen. More than enough room for 4 people. Enough dishes, glasses, etc. Peter always answered when I had a question. Would recommend."

"Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. "

"This is a nice cozy cabin perfect for a weekend stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location, close to Corning and Watkins Glen. "

"The house was wonderful! Just beautiful! Everything was great until the last day. it's the only Vrbo I've stayed in that the owner did not text me upon check in to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Also, the only one that I could not find a phone number for anywhere, there was a book with all information, but no number to contact. On the day we were checking out, the water was turned off and hour and 15 minutes before check-out, so I wasn't even able to take a shower. "

"This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced."

"We have stayed at this hotel off and on multiple times in the past few years while our daughter is attending college in the area. The first time we stayed it was great and then it went downhill. We actually stopped staying here. It was not as clean as it had been in the past and staff seemed quite disinterested. I was looking for a cheap place to sleep on Monday night as I had to leave to go home at 5am. My stay was only 7 hours. I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. There has been an obvious effort in turning around the hotel. While there was snow in the parking area, the walkway into the hotel was clean and salted. I was greeted by Ebony who was very nice and gave me a complimentary water and snack bag. My room was very clean. As I was leaving at 5:30 am there was a pleasant gentleman cleaning the lobby. "
