Great mountain getaway
We absolutely love this cabin. The views are spectacular, the cabin is very comfortable, and it is very close to Townsend and the smokies. It is perfect for a cades cove trip, a long relaxing morning, or a movie night. We will be back soon.

Quiet Mountain House
Very comfortable and well equipped house with a fabulous view. Windows all round make it easy to watch for wildlife. Very nicely decorated. After a day of hiking or out sightseeing we appreciated the retreat up the hill. If you are looking to cook a lot this has everything you will need. We loved the Peaceful side of the Smokies

Fun get away
Beautiful cabin with all the amenities! Wish it had a hot tub but the views are great! Located at the end of steep driveway and is secluded and quiet. Loved the screened in porch and pool table.

Gorgeous getaway
The steep drive up to the house yields an amazing view of the Smokies. The cabin itself is gorgeous, wood throughout. Plenty of amenities. Casual walks need to happen in the nearby, peaceful town of Townsend as the drive really is steep. But the times we did walk were rewarded with conversations with friendly neighbors. Sweet little community.

Absolutely Perfect Family Retreat
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Location was exactly what we were looking for and the home itself was clean, well equipped, easy to get to while still feeling private and had amazing sunset views. Drove into Pigeon Forge for Dollywood and Dollys dinner show and explored hiking/ waterfalls around Townsend and Gatlinburg. All easy to get to from the house. Excellent communication from host as well. We will be back!

Everything and more
The rental process and communication were both outstanding! The town was quaint and laid back. The perfect distance away but close enough to the hustle and bustle big cities! Thanks again Christine!)

Beautiful home and view
We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. Our family injoyed spend a few days in the mountains. Next time we would like to stay longer. Amazing view and very private. Very close to everything we wanted to see and do. Close to grocery stores and local restaurants. The cabin sits on top of the mountain and the road is narrow and steep. Definitely recommend arriving before dark to drive up to the cabin. We definitely recommend this cabin to future vacationers and would love to come back again.

We had a really great time.
This is our second stay at this cabin. We had a great time. If I had anything to say the cabin just wasn’t as clean as the previous visit. Rags and cleaning supplies left out on the pool table, lots of dust and cobwebs. The lighting was dim due to burnt out bulbs. Overall we had a great time, the communication was outstanding, and we will more than likely be back again.

Perfect "10"!
My husband and I had an awesome time of peace, quiet and solitude during our stay at Valley View Hideaway - exactly what we needed as a remedy for some ongoing weeks of mounting stress! There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs and a loft with sofabed, pool table and separate bath upstairs. Although there are walls of windows, we spent most of our time on the porches. The cabin was immaculate, the views spectacular and did I mention how peaceful! You will not be disappointed in a stay at this mountain retreat!

High End Glamping
Unique and beautiful home. I was mostly prepared with the food we needed. Knowing what I know now, I would've packed soaps, shampoo, and laundry soap. It is only a couple miles to town, but it's not a fast trip because of the drive off the mountain. Plenty of nice places to eat. I loved Townsend - it's not a Gatlinburg. If Gatlinburg is your thing, it's not that far away. Townsend gets you out of the hustle and bustle, yet there is lots to do. Would I want to stay again - Yes.

Great Mountain Getaway
The property was amazing! Better in person than the pictures depict though they look great online too, in person it is even better! The views and peacefulness of the property were wonderful. 3 full bathrooms was great for us to get ready too. Close to the Smoky Mountain Park and Cades Cove though the Cove was closed when we were there which was disappointing… The place was well appointed with everything you need from towels to kitchen cooking items. The only thing I would add is maybe some small shampoo/conditioner/liquid soap for the showers as those are available at most VRBOs we stayed at, otherwise, it was fantastic!! Definitely would stay again if we come back to the park!!

Fun on the peaceful side of the Smokies
First of all the cabin is absolutely beautiful. Any issues we had Christine promptly remedied. The views were amazing and Townsend is definitely the place to stay. We would love to come back in the fall and enjoy the views. If you are planning a family vacation and need some time away you can't go wrong with this cabin and location. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge but only about 30-40 minute drive away.
