This is a beautiful Ryokan, and even though the facilities are not brand new they are not lacking. Breakfast was very good and the Onsen were very spacious and felt the most new out of all the area.

This place is SO nice. I loved every aspect, from my room to the onsen to the breakfast buffet. The town is really nice too. Quiet though, so if you're looking for vibrant nightlife this isn't it 😀

Great services and very friendly staffs, enjoyed the private onsen in the room and the breakfast. The hotel has beautiful waterful natural view from the lobby and the forest garden view from the private insensitive.

This property is a 5/5 for sure, this was a highlight of my trip. Spend a little extra and get the premium suite with the private bath. The staff are all amazing, they are super professional and always helpful. The hotel Onsen is amazing too, its baths + sauna were so relaxing. The danger about staying here is you never want to leave the hotel.

This was a lovely hotel with onsen. We decided on a half-board which was breakfast and in room dinner which was wonderful. There were 6-7 course dinner. Beautiful grounds, afternoon drinks , nice gift shop with a great assortment of snack foods, gift items, etc.Staff were very helpful .

This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!

Everything about Kinosaki Onsen is a dream! The view from our hotel room looked like a painting. The rooms were very spacious. More like an entire condo than a room. The staff were very prifessional and friendly. We felt like royalty. My son lived the pool. It was great to have a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Loved everuthing about it and would love to reurn!

Excellent choice for Kinosake-Onsen. Staff was above and beyond amazing. Incredible location. We were a bit worried that this might be too far from the center of town but on the contrary, it was an easy walk and we enjoyed being in a quieter location. Walk into town was beautiful. Can not recommend this place enough!

This experience was top notch! Wonderful staff. Every step of the way my friends and me were taken care of and made to feel welcome. The food was better than a 3 Michelin star meal we had earlier in our trip and our room felt authentic. This was a true spa experience at a fraction of the cost you would pay in the US, but with much better service.

Our stay at Nishimuraya was absolutely amazing. From the second we stepped in all the way u til check out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They take youd luggage to your room and give you an explanation of the room set up and customs. They provide yukatas to wear to the onsens and shoes. The foodbwas out of this world and a grwat opportunity to try a traditional Japanese meal. I cant say enough good things. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

I had an amazing time at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei—every minute was a true pleasure. The stay includes free access to all 7 public onsens in Kinosaki, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with beautifully prepared meals that highlighted local flavors. What truly stood out was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, making me feel genuinely cared for. I especially appreciated the serene natural setting and the private onsen options, which offered peaceful moments of relaxation. The spa massage was wonderful, and the shuttle service to and from the train station made everything so convenient. I felt blessed, rejuvenated, and completely at ease during my stay. I’m already looking forward to returning.

Loved it here. My wife did not want to leave. We had the dinner, and we couldn't eat anymore. We seemed happy and excited to help us. were beyond full, but it was delicious. It was also our first time having a full Japanese meal. The staff were lovely. They seemed happy and excited to help us. The onsen on site was delightful. Passes were also provided for the public ones along with a shuttle to get you to them. The yukata provided were comfortable. The futon was cozy. The view from the room, the view from the dining area, and the nature at the onsen were all delightful. Will likely go again if or when we get back to Japan.
