Great property, but there’s not really A/C
I will tell you what I wish I knew signing up to stay here. You’re spending a lot of money - you should have the whole scoop and decide for yourself what matters and what doesn’t! Pros: this house is as pictured - beautiful! Nice appliances, great grounds, comfy furniture (really comfy beds!). We enjoyed the hot tub, video games, kayaks and SUPB. There is Picnic Island about a mile out - some of us went via kayak and others arrived via JetSki (thanks, Aussie Watersports!). Super fun! **One of the best things - this house is stocked! From toilet paper to detergent to a spice rack - it is easy to spend a week here because they have thought of all those details. Having stayed at numerous VRBO places, I really appreciate this. Cons: this house is not really air conditioned. The upstairs game room, bunk room, and one bedroom are cooled by splits. Those rooms are lovely and cool. But the splits are not large enough to cool the whole house, and they do not cool the whole house. We showed up to a very warm and stuffy room on the main floor after an 85 degree day. (There are two other upstairs bedrooms that also do not have A/C). The only way to sleep is to open the windows - enjoy traffic noise? You’ll have plenty - and run the fan at full speed. I SPECIFICALLY filter for AC to avoid this. We were so disappointed. This felt deceitful to us. And we want you to know. All we missed on this vacay was good sleep. The rest was great. But we’ll never go back.

Family get away.
Family vacation was nice with the rooms. The bedrooms were fine for 2 adult couples and 2 adult children. The two living areas was nice for those who wanted to watch tv and those who did not. Hot was enjoyable. Lake view was enjoyable and family dog enjoyed the house however the beaches did not allow dogs. But there was small sandy area at the docks. Fire pit is in auto sprinkler system so chairs wet every day and wood left near pit was wet. The ac was difficult to figure out and not sure really worked on lower level. Good thing only was day was hot during our June visit. House was clean and kitchen adequately stocked. The road we had to walk across to get to lake was busy but manageable.

The place was very comfortable and inviting! I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this place exceeded my expectations! We felt very comfortable! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Overall we loved the place! It had something for all ages and provided a great place for family memories to be made!
