Traverse City vacation rental house. Sleeps 8, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. No pets allowed. Max occupancy 6 Adults and 2 children under age of 5. Elmwood township license # 2024-13.
Nestled on the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay, One Fine Bay is a spacious home featuring a private sandy beach, sparkling in-ground temperature controlled pool (heat kept at 83 degrees) and a grassy lawn large enough for volleyball or watching fireworks. Enjoy spectacular sunrise views from the decks on one of 2-levels of living space. Located on S. West Bay Shore Dr. 3 bedrooms, plus a loft-like family room/sleeping area. 2 bathrooms indoors, and half-bath with pool access.

1 King, 2 Queens, and 2 rollaway beds. Temperature controlled in-ground pool opens May 28-Sept.1.

One Fine Bay is the perfect beach house. You’ll love the gorgeous gourmet kitchen with dishwasher and open concept living room downstairs. Washer/dryer. 2 large flat panel TVs let you watch a movie or catch the game after a day of wine-tasting. Cable TV, WIFI, iPod Docking Station, Stereo. The master bath features a free-standing soaking tub that is to die for. On chilly mornings, light up the fireplace or on warmer days, relax in central air-conditioning.

Read a book, work on your tan and relax on the grassy lawn which steps directly onto your private beach. Kayaks are provided with a small dock for easy access. Use the grill or make s’mores in the firepit while the kids splash in the pool.
One Fine Bay is a 5-minute trip to Downtown Traverse City and a short drive to Suttons Bay and local wineries. Take a day trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Enjoy hiking trails, festivals, local boutiques, art galleries and great restaurants. Make your travel plans soon, One Fine Bay is perfect for your next vacation!

Grand Traverse Adventures
We had a wonderful time staying on the water of Grand Traverse Bay. One Fine Bay is spacious and in a great location for exploring. The Greens communicated extremely well and ensured that all was well. I would recommend the property to anyone looking for adventures around Traverse City.

A joy for all ages
A beautiful view of the bay, nice private sandy beach, a beautiful pool, and a comfortable and accomodating home highlight this wonderful property. However, one does have to learn how to maneuver a fairly steep driveway off of a very busy State highway. Especially, with two vehicles.

The beach was beautiful and we loved the kayaks too! The pool was an added bonus and was used a lot as well. The kitchen was super nice and updated and was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We absolutely loved the dining room table where we could eat our meals and look out at the amazing view of the lake! The entire house was decorated so cute too! We will definitely be renting again!

Pictures of the home are very accurate, but don't do justice to the beauty of the view of the bay. Living areas have lots of glass facing the bay and takes advantage of the beautiful setting. You are really close to the water (I would estimate less than 100' to waters edge) with private beach and nice deck off family room and small deck of main level bedroom to enjoy the view and nice breeze off the bay. Main level has been remodeled nicely

Great location
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Normal check-in is 4pm, though I spoke with someone on the phone a day or two prior, who told us we could check-in at 3pm. The cleaning crew did not finish until 4:15pm so we had to drive around and sit in the driveway until they were finished. Also, the pool was not open, which all of our guests were disappointed. Not sure why it wasn't open for Memorial Day weekend as it was beautiful weather. Overall we had a great stay and loved the location. It was a beautiful rental though the delayed check-in and pool were disappointments.

Reviewer Comments: We were very impressed with the house once we got inside, the condition of the exterior of the home was fine but the interior was simply beautiful! The updates that had been done, the decorating, and the beach were so impressive. We were disappointed that the pool was closed as we would have used it on the 90 degree days we were there. The toilet seat in the upstairs restroom was broken so badly when we arrived that the four people that slept upstairs stopped using it because it felt like you may fall off. Aside from that, we were more than happy with the property.

Bayshore Half Marathon
We couldn’t have picked a better location and setup with our daughter and son-in-law and their kids over the Memorial Day Holiday. They both ran in the Bayshore Half Marathon there, it was super close to all things in TC, their kids were super content playing baseball on the bay-side lawn, swimming in the pool, or looking for Petosky stones in the water. The bedrooms were large, the bedding and beds were soft and wonderfully comfortable too. The bathroom off thr pool was completely a fabulous idea! The home was perfectly stocked and we wanted for nothing! The only bummer was M22 right at thr driveway but we never spent time at all on that side. I have to say that thr communication and kindness of this owner was super. Very thorough and expectations were spelled out. Even two kayaks were there to use along with so many pool and sand toys! The kids will most likely run in thr Bayshore next year so we are Hopi g to be back. Thanks a bunch!!

Modern Style Home with Wonderful Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was clean, well equipped with amenities, and had a great open floor plan. We had an excellent rental experience from check in to check out. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, spices, and there were plenty of linens for our party of 6. The master bathroom shower and tub were large and the master bathroom had tons of storage, however the upstairs full bath is small and could be updated. We loved the layout which included the loft area upstairs which gave us more space to relax. The pool and beach area were private and well kept. The only issue we had was the pool temp was never above 70 degrees due to a leak. The pool maintenance staff were aware of it but we did not swim as much as we would have liked. The house is a short drive (10 mins max) to downtown Traverse City. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation property and we would highly recommend it!

A heavenly getaway that's close to everything
A tasteful, thoughtfully designed home with several living and dining spaces, all overlooking the beautiful bay. The pool and surrounding patio are a terrific addition to the private sandy beach which is ideal for sunbathing, sandcastle making and watching the sun set around the campfire. Minutes from Traverse City, Sutton's Bay, wineries and a nature walking trail, which helps because there's no immediate walking path. Loved our stay!

Our check-in to the property was easy and the house was clean. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had about the house. Beautiful scenery
The property is literary on the lake. Beautiful scenery. One minor issue: too close to the main road, so a bit noise. Also hard to get the car out of the driveway. House is beautifully decorated and comfortable.

The beach did not disappoint :)
What drew us to One Fine Bay was the large beach area, flat yard, and proximity to downtown TC. The house is beautiful and spacious. The only slight bummer was that we had to do some cleaning when we arrived. The countertops were sticky, there was hair in the sink, some of the dishes had not been cleaned. We expected more cleanliness since there was a cleaning fee, and especially during Covid times. Despite that minor issue, we had a great time and would stay again. Lovely, lovely place!

Magical Holiday Retreat
We rented this home over Thanksgiving and it was even more beautiful than we anticipated. This home was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay and I enjoyed all of the small touches, including the board games, books and binoculars to view the peninsula across the bay. I woke up each morning to watch the sunrise - the views from the upstairs are just as impressive as the main level. Check in was a breeze! I look forward to returning for another visit in the summer months.

Great place right on the water!
This house was lovely and in an amazing location! We had a small mix-up with what bedding was going to be provided because of Covid precautions but Rich Green (the host) was super responsive and helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!
