"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good. Top tip: sit on the green by the river with takeaway fish and chips and a drink. Lovely. The rooms are a little basic but fine. Location is quiet with lots of great walks around the area. Free parking next to the pub. "
"The Bugle Inn is the oldest building in the area.
We had our evening meal in the bar, the food was lovely, good portions size, nicely presented.
We had a good night's sleep, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot. We did find a cobweb.
Breakfast was a full cornish and was lovely. "
"This was a lovely tranquil place to stay, highly recommended. Would stay here again, restaurant staff were lovely and the food was delicious. We had the Panfried Salmon, would have liked more vegetables tho. But all in all a lovely place to stay"
"The service could not have been better, All the staff was very polite, friendly & helpful. the food was fantastic (my only regret was not having an evening meal on Sunday, but I can fully understand the economics of it .)
I would definitely recommend it!"

"We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. "
"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could.
The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good.
The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight.
We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time.
