Our recently renovated home has been lovingly restored to meet the functionality of a modern country house. Three bedrooms accomodate up to six people comfortably; the master with an adjoining ensuite.
The main bathroom features a beautiful bathtub to relax in on your tranquil escape to the country. The open plan living space is perfect for entertaining and spending quality time with loved ones. The original fireplace is a highlight to cosy up next to, toast marshmallows and create the perfect atmosphere of cool climate life. The generous laundry is ideal for extended family getaways. Likewise with the generous backyard and decking where endless days can be spent winding down and enjoying nature. Tricky start
Beds were very comfortable, house was nice, yard lovely. Our checkin was frought with difficulty as the keypad batteries had gone flat so we couldn’t get in for some time. Then once in we had to dismantle the keypad as it kept beeping. There was no kettle or toaster and I had to call the owner and access his house at the back of the property to get them. There were clothes in the wardrobes and draws, lots of random things in the kitchen drawers and the fridge. There were beds for 6 people however only seating for four which was a bit difficult. The house was also for sale and when we looked at the listing a home open had been scheduled for during our stay. The house was lovely, Fili and Amanda were quick to sort our issues but the house seemed a bit shambolic and not really set up for people to stay.

Lovely litle house. As others said, it was strange to have personal items in the house, and on one of the days the owner and a builder were doing work outsize the house, which made us feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately there is only one couch, which is not that comfortable, so not enough swating for a 3 bedroom house and the fireplace is in a corner, with no seating around it. Beautifully renovated house which is situated close to the main street, an easy walk to the pubs and cafes.

We really enjoyed the house and location. Quiet, comfortable beds, great renovation. A few improvements - more mugs, more indoor chairs for table setting, and some options for making coffee, Loved the door pin feature - excellent for a holiday rental. Your advertisement could be improved with pictures of the lovely kitchen, dining, lounge area. We were nervous from the photos that there wouldn’t be any indoor social spaces. Our larger group was well served by the property having 3 toilets. Excellent value. Would highly recommend.

Lovely home, luxury linen, very fresh and new. Great location. Only a few issues, we had a very hot weekend and there are no curtains in the main sitting room. It was very glarey and hot inside behind the glass doors and full length windows. The air conditioner failed on a 37 degree day with no instructions or reply from the owner as to fixing it. They did aplogise for lack of reply later on after I had reset the unit outside. My 89 year old mum had nearly died from heat. We also found it strange that there were many personal photos around, clothes in cupboards, lots of food in the fridge and pantry. We felt like intruders! But overall, a beautiful, clean home and with some added curtains and instructions, ( and personal items removed) it would be 10/10.
