"After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too"

Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"This was a very comfortable house for a large family - with a spacious garden and well appointed rooms. In The kitchen was well equipped for mass catering, and the views from the north facing were stunning and uninterrupted. . The property managers were most helpful which allowed our stay to be so enjoyable. "

Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. "

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business....
