"This trip was organised for my mother 70's birthday and it was such a big disappointment. The receptionist couldn't find our booking info and claimed that they didn't receive anything from Hotel.com. Unfriendly behavior when trying to ask for help to find restaurant nearby. The room, sheets and towels were not clean. Breakfast was included but not clean either, so we did skip it. This was big waste of time and money. I used Hotel.com many times and this is the First time that a hotel...

"What a beautiful place to stay, the property is set in a lovely idyllic setting surrounded by countryside. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the staff were absolutely excellent and super friendly. The breakfast was lovely too. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed at on our motorbike trip around France. If you book here you will not be disappointed. 5 Stars."

"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. "Séjour au vert! Concert des chouettes la nuit, concert des tourterelles le jour. Penser à l'indispensable lampe de poche, car la nuit, tout est au noir. Pas de circulation sur le domaine, gage de tranquillité. Certaines structures sont plus intimes que d'autres ( les yourtes sont sur un grand espace commun, assez grand pour sa tranquillité). Super accueil, sympa, pro, convivial. Merci de cet agréable séjour."
