"Even though we didn’t speak French or Portugese it was really nice communicating with Eddie. He is a great host and arranged for us a comfortable stay. The house was very nice and the beds were comfortable as well. Big plus is that the toilet is separated from the bathroom. Location was good, the metro and the supermarket were close by. Would really recommend this vacation house!!"

It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. There are no facilities downstairs at all, no fridge, bin, kettle for example. So living separately isn’t possible. The pool is a good size and a lovely addition to the property. "The house is located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood on a narrow cobblestone street. We spent most of our time on the patio which is beautifully landscaped with succulents and flowering plants. João, the host, was very quick to respond to any questions we had. You definitely need a car to get around. If you want a quiet getaway this is the place!"

The apartment had great amenities including fridge, stove top, iron, and a great shower. There was complimentary wine and espresso which you don’t realize how great it is until you have it.
