"Fantastic 3 night stay. The property has bags of character and sits in a great location on the edge of town, with an approx 15 min walk in. "This was my second stay at Loans, very nice Hotel, restaurant has been recently refurbished to very high standard. If i had to find a negative it would be the breakfast chefs attempt at Eggs Benedict/Loans, it was terrible and let everything else down, however i would still go back. My only reason for marking down from 5 stars is that they seemed understaffed at breakfast, the young lady who was serving, and managing reception, was doing an excellent job but was overstretched, leading to the buffet being missing quite a few items. "Absolutely fantastic - an incredibly beautiful property in a lovely quiet street. The room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast, which you order the evening before, was absolutely delicious and Alison was a fantastic host.
