"Just feel obligated to describe, so nobody could be fooled in future. I stayed only one night. There was construction/ renovation around the area, banging during the day and the traffic noise at night was unbearable, Apartment was very old and dark, nothing updated. Few rooms, but all was dirty, no air conditioning , apartment is totally unfit for living. No hot water either! The whole experience was horrible! I had to find another place and move!"

"What’s not to love about Tropea? Our accommodations were located in the best possible place to stay in this ancient city. Convenient to absolutely everything including the train to other destinations. We made this quaint two bedroom apartment our home base for three weeks and we traveled from there around Calabria and to Sicily. Bernardo was always available when we needed him and he speaks perfect English which can really come in handly"

"What an amazing place this is. We had a week with the four of us in the apartment and loved every second. The apartment itself is fairly small but absolutely fine for two adults and two boys on the sofa bed. Kitchen had a gas hob, microwave and toaster for cooking along with a large fridge / freezer. "The location was amazing and the building was beautiful. Pasquale was an extremely gracious host. Very good with communication and very informative and kind. It’s nothing fancy inside the apartment but the bathroom had been redone which was nice. You will spend your days at the beach here anyways! You are a block from a set of stairs leading down to the beach which is very convenient. "

"Giuseppe is the epitome of southern Italy kindness! He greeted us upon arrival and provided a thorough explanation of the apartment, as well as recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc. The location was great - up the hill from one of the main beaches, and about a 10 minute walk to the center of town. We would definitely stay again!"

"This is a beautiful apartment in Tropea. It is very clean. The hosts too live on site and can help with anything you may need. The only caution: it is far up on a steep hill, so if you wear heels, you will need a taxi down to the city center. But the view, especially in the mornings, is spectacular. Thank you so much!"

"The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...
