"The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. "A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly."

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. "I’ll start this review by saying that we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages. This one was by FAR our favourite. The inside feels brand new (although the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay but we didn’t mind we had so many activities) and the outside is a DREAM. Right on the most beautiful lake, with kayaks and a floating pad for swimming and relaxing. The property and the.lake house were so clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be coming back! "
