"It was a typical Dormy Inn stay. I enjoy the hotel for its location and amenities. It is within walking distance to many of the cultural sites in the city as well as many good restaurants. The free ramen in the evening is a nice touch especially after a long soak in the outside onsen. The breakfast buffet is good and has a large selection of food. The beds are extremely hard but clean. I tend to bring my own blankets and pillows from home to make them more comfortable. I do find it frustrating...

"larger than usual room size which is nice, but way too noisy. From 5am you will hear doors and cupboards slam (from the kitchen I think), as if it were within your own room. Was unable to sleep due to noise. Otherwise a standard business hotel."

"Hostel was right by the station about a three minute walk. Room (pod really) was good. I ended up getting a double bed and it was clean and warm. Showers and toilet were clean and amenities included. The common area and kitchen was clean. Because I gotta double and the bed was comfortable. I would've been ok to stay a few more days. I only stayed a night, but i would stay here again. "

We appreciated having space to do our own thing as bathroom, toilet and luggage area were separated. A minor issue at check in - while they stored our luggage for us, they did not process check in at 1pm. We understand that rooms are available from 3pm so why did they need to ask for all our passports to verify a reservation? We had to extract our...
