"This is indeed a unique property. Lodging reimagined. We had a suite with four queen sized mattresses truly comfortable bunk style and a separate room with a king bed, and an outdoor balcony. The outdoor space is wonderfully landscaped from the area around the pool to the courtyard adjacent the front with landscaped cactus and a fire pit to warm up the cool desert night. Probably best of all are the people who make up the staff - Tessa Sasha Amber Michelle John Sandra Shayne and others who double as baristas and go out of their way to make sure all the guests needs are met. Field Station takes ordinary accommodations and makes them extraordinary. No quest we will be back."

"The house was even more beautiful in person, spacious for our group of 12. The kitchen had multiple sets of serving dishes and plates, some basic spices, coffee maker, blender… multiple amenities. The view was absolutely gorgeous! It sits on the corner of a neighborhood, so you do still feel secluded. The host was very responsive to questions or needs. Very well run. It was definitely a trip we will all remember. "

"We stayed with our dog for 5 nights. The stars were beautiful and the valley had far clear views. Secluded is correct, it was a very private location. The directions were clear to get to, and we arrived at midnight. The code we were given didn’t work but we quickly were able to contact the host and get another. The house was well equipped, there are many places to hang out, outside. The hanging swings, the lawn chairs by the fireplace, the patio, and the trailer with deck was a nice place to go in the afternoon. We didn’t use the cowboy pool because we should have swept out the red dust before we started and decided to stop filling it. The hot tub worked well. The only thing to be cautious of are the many cholla cactus around, the spines stick to your shoes then can track in the house. We got them stuck in our feet before realizing where they came from. Our dog got them in her paw and then her tongue when she tried to remove them. Be careful! The laundry room had a funny odd smell but you only spend a few minutes in there anyway. Kitchen could use more dishrags, mixing bowls, but I cook more than most people. Bed was comfortable, nice long table, comfortable couch. Limited storage for clothes and places to put stuff. Overall a beautiful property and we have lots of great memories. I would go back."

"Great stay near Joshua Tree. Sarah was helpful in working with us on check-in/out times. Much appreciated. Beautiful home with great views. There is a 0.2 mile dirt trail leading to the home that was a bit challenging to drive through since it was unpaved and quite rocky. Recommend a taller vehicle especially if you're packing a full car!"
