"This villa was one of the most beautiful, peaceful and friendly places we’ve stayed at. The location was perfect for a quiet and relaxing break but is also within a close distance to various attractions including waterfalls, temples and rice terraces. "This property is on the most beautiful beach in the area. White sand beach leads to turquoise ocean with snorkelling right off the beach. The staff is warm and welcoming and our deck was 3 feet from the pool which overlooks the ocean a few steps below. It is located in a small quite village with many small restaurant but if you want more action many of the restaurants in Canadista will give you a ride there and back or you can have a driver take you for $4-5."

"There's not much to say that hasn't already been said, the property and in particular the views are amazing, everywhere you look there is something new to see. I really enjoyed my time at Sumah Hill and most of the time was spent relaxing by the pool reading and swimming. The staff were amazing and really looked after not just me but the villa was kept in immaculate condition for my whole stay. "Awesome place with impeccable service. The enormous rooms with 3M high windows were very impressive, as were the expansive grounds which were impeccably kept. The staff’s attention to detail and enthusiasm to do everything for their guests, was a standout. The only negative is that they had very little wine to offer, however it was easy to wander to the supermarket nearby. We spent a very relaxing three days here, mostly lazing in the pool and watching the sunsets. If you are after a quieter and more relaxed environment away from the pubs and mayhem of Kuta, this is it. Best place that we stayed at in Bali. 11/10."

"This was our first stay in Bali. We had one of the garden rooms. It was beautiful and clean!!! The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable! Some of the best massages as well!! The buffet breakfast was incredible! My friend who is gluten and dairy free had no problem finding a good choice that fit her diet! "

"We had a lovely stay, it was relaxing and the two queries we had were dealt with so quickly and quietly. The staff were lovely and the grounds are so nice and so pretty of an evening. We also used the on-site transport to a village and then again in leaving, such a better option than a grab. So looking forward to seeing the beach restoration project in the future."

"Great stay at the Oculus hotel. Food and facilities are amazing with excellent service. The hotel is located on a steep incline with lots of steps and hillu walks into Kintamanti so not recommended for someone with limited accessibility or pushchairs. We booked this hotel to do the Jeep Adventure to Mount Batur and it's a perfect location to relax and unwind away from the south madness. "
