"Unique hotel in picturesque surroundings. The rooms are beautifully decorated, all in different styles and colors. We stayed in room 8, Gustaf Boman, and it was absolutely amazing. Dark colors and lots of gold. Bathtub next to bed, terrace, sofa area, comfy large bed and lots of space. We’ll come back!"
"Really cool and unusual building, room was small but comfortable, location is a 15 walk to the subway but on a small city island with a beach outside. Would stay here again in the summer!"
"Really lovely hotel in an interesting old building and setting. The staff were really good and plenty of choice at breakfast. Good location near lots of restaurants and bars, minutes from Metro but on quiet street."
"The breakfast was incredible with tons of options. The hotel is pretty basic but very clean and centrally located with a subway station right around the corner and tons of bars, restaurants, and pretty much everything you could need or want "
"We really enjoyed our stay here.
Interesting decor, very friendly staff, clean, good breakfast buffet.
Only thing I would warn about is the bar across the street can be loud late at night, but I sleep with sound buds in so it was no problem for me.
Would stay here again "
"Road construction caused a little inconvenience on arroval the first time with tram. After that moving between Stockholm and Hotel was easy. Great location and good dining options. "
"Our room was very comfortable and has the best ironing accessories of any place we stayed. The staff was very helpful in pointing out areas of interest. Location was close to public transport and the restaurants had a wonderful selection of food. There also was a free espresso machine with fresh fruit available. Highly recommend this hotel."
"Good location. The boat didn’t rock either which was a plus!
Do bring ear plugs as the doors slam loud.
The single bed room I stayed in wouldn’t be suitable for anyone over 6ft.
Lovely stay. "

"The staff at this hotel go over and above to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable
The breakfast is exceptional and the rooms are certainly better than average
Highly recommended "
"Yes, the rooms are small, but they’re well designed and if you’re clever with your packing you can easily fit everything into your room.
The bar and restaurant downstairs are both very good and hip. The highlight is the breakfast in their restaurant. They just need a toaster."

"It was our first time to Stockholm (in Sweden, in general!) and I had low expectations. I wasn’t familiar with the area, and it was pretty cheap. My expectations were low, but I thought, what the hey, we won’t be in our room much. But this hotel was gorgeous. It smells nice, it’s very clean, it’s in an amazing location (right by the metro, easy access to everything in Stockholm!), the neighborhood it is located called Södermalm is very upscale and there’s lots of cute places to eat and explore nearby, the continental breakfast spread is amazing and the staff were all outstanding and so friendly!
The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s pretty standard for European hotel rooms. They were immaculate, though! And it was bigger than my hotel room in Manhattan. Beds were cozy, too, and the bathrooms were nice! Also, there is no bathtub. Not sure if that’s all rooms or just mine (I booked the most basic one since it was just my eight year old daughter and I!) either way no big deal.
If you are considering a visit to Stockholm (which I also recommend!), I cannot sing higher praises of this hotel. We WILL be back!!! "
