"I booked the property going solely from the reviews and was not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The food choices and service was good and i enjoyed eating there. I was not really expecting much as the cost was very reasonable but was impressed. The staff were really good and very pleasant. This is a town centre pub so noise may be an issue at times but during our stay it was only evident on the friday night (before xmas) which still was not a problem. I would definitely stay...

The room was very large, had a sofa, a table and 2 chairs coffee table,3 small bedside units, a unit with tea/ coffee makings, a dressing table and chair and a wardrobe. Sadly, all very dated and the sofa was past its best. It was such a pity it was so shabby as it could be a super hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, many thanks to them. "

"We had an amazing stay for our anniversary, couldn’t fault anything it was great! The food incredible, we had two breakfasts and two dinners it was that good! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and the room was lovely, we had a great view of the gardens! The location plus all of the above we felt was great value for money and we are already missing our stay in the New Forest! Would definitely recommend! "
