"It was so clean and tidy. I gave the 3 stars to area around property because it's still under construction, so it does look a little messy outside. They're clearly working on it. The cabins are close but situated so it feels very private. Wonderful little covered porch facing the creek. The photos don't do it justice. If you need to decompress, I highly recommend. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean with an open floor plan on the first floor. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds are comfortable and the extra half bath on the first floor is practical. We hiked to a nearby waterfall and enjoyed the local brewery scene. The pup was welcome and enjoyed the occasional frolic on the golf course when it wasn’t in use! "

"DeHart Cabin was perfect for our stay. We made a last minute decision to take a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and wanted to stay close. Lucky us this gem was available. We trailered the motorcycle and were able to also bring Piper (our Labrador retriever). The driveway was a little sketchy on the motorcycle but doable for the experienced rider. "Such a beautiful and relaxing get away. The home and property are super well maintained and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed wandering around the property and even got to experience a storm as we sat on the front porch. So much fun that we didn't even want to leave the property during our stay. "This tiny house is so relaxing and beautiful. The walk to the lake is a very easy short distance. Everything is exactly as listed. There are plenty of snacks available and the bed was super comfortable. The towels and linens were fresh and crisp. The host Steve is extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with. "Deer Runs is a lovely cabin surrounded by forest. The tall hard wood trees fill the air with the best smell. I did not want to leave. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the best sleep on a most wonderful bed. The great window by table was mesmerizing. There was so much to see. And, I love the sound of water. It was everywhere . I took my hiking sticks and this 63 year old went down the trail to the river. Steep but, I did it fine. This place seems magical. "
