"It feels important to mention that the owner does not speak english, it is listed as a language they speak, but they don't. I received a message from them a couple of hours before we were due to arrive (after traveling for over 20 hours) to say that our bedding was wet and in the washing machine and we would need to dry it. "The house is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The host was available easily and answered all questions in a timely manner. We loved walking to see the animals up the road and sitting out back watching the water. Definitely a 10/10!! "Completely renovated and nicely decorated old Norwegian house, right at the harbour of Glesvaen. Situated right at the harbour with great views. Equipped with everything you need. Mr Cameron is a great host and has put a lot of work in this house. There is a nice restaurant/Cafe right around the corner (The only one in the area). Nearest Supermarket is a 10 Min drive, and there are two more another 10 mins away. You can swim, explore the area by boat or on foot or just relax and enjoy quiet...

"My son his wife and their two children loved our stay at the Borg residence. It was spacious, quite and had all the amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were able to meet with our friends and mix with friendly and hospitable people. It's refreshing to be in an area with no crime where people are laid back and inviting. "Sigurd’s home is absolutely lovely. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a wonderful view. But more importantly, the house is spotless and equipped with everything you need to have a home away from home. We hated leaving. And he responded to any needs we had right away. In den Schlafzimmern ist nur ein Bett, kein Schrank, keine Leselampe, nix.Auf der Terrasse steht Schrott herum, ein kaputter Whirlpool, ein ausgebauter Kamin, rostige Grills, kaputte Gartenmöbel. The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. Brilliant hotel, next to the tram line (1).

"Located less than 5 minutes from Danmarksplass tram stop (on the direct line from the airport to Bergen city centre), this was in the perfect location for me. The hotel was clean, felt safe and was a very good price. It was unusual to not have a TV in the room - but I didn't need on anyway. The hotel had a luggage storeroom which I was able to access before check-in - this allowed me to drop my bags mid-morning and go into the city centre for the day. The hotel has a partner restaurant on site (offering a discount for hotel users) and there in another restaurant immediately under the hotel - plus plenty of takeaway places, some shops and a coffee shop within 2 mins walk. There is also a communal area in reception with access to a kettle, microwave etc - and there was a vending machine and coffee machine if needed. I would very happily stay here again."
