"We had a fabulous stay! The place is so well maintained with all the good details. The owner Janik is such a nice person, he helps people and animals. Janik mother’s cook is super, the best food we had during our whole trip at Sri Lanka. 这个小旅店实在太好了，这个品质用这个价格住简直不可思议。老板Janik人非常非常好，认真对待每件事和身边每一个人和小动物。Janik妈妈做的饭实在是太好吃了，她开的餐馆曾经是Ella地区的餐馆第一名☝️，没想到我们能有这个口服，这两天的食物是我们在斯里兰卡十天中吃到的最好吃的饭了。旅馆外面是无边无际的甘蔗地，带上店里的三条小狗在田间漫步十分美好。本来只打算住一晚，到了以后直接又延了一晚，把在斯国的最后一晚也贡献给了这里。强烈推荐一定要来体验一下！"

"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."

The restaurant breakfast and dinner buffets had a nice variety of food options as well. Watch out for monkeys in the morning - one tried to steal our cream and sugar during morning coffee on the balcony."

"A one night stay for the national park so a clean room is all we needed. The room was better than we expected and comfortable. We has dinner and breakfast - food was 'OK'. Reception staff were very helpful, restaurant staff could be more attentive. Best is it is opposite elephant transit home which was, in some ways, better than the safari. "

"We stayed for two night cause were visiting Udawalawe national park, which is about 30mis away so the hotel is a very good basepoint. Hotel is a walking distance from bus station and town central. Arrived and got complimentary drinks, super nice welcome and info of jeep/driver arrangements for the safari. The safari is a couple of dollars more expensive if you get it through the hotel but so easy, I highly recommend doing it that way. You get breakfast to go and the jeep and driver were...

"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "Beautiful property, the room was very nice also with good quality of food. On the other hand, the service can definitely be improved for a 5 stars hotel, such as massages for 2, welcoming message, taxi service. Too expensive for what it is, need some improvement but we had a great time there"
