"Built like so much of Kandy on the side of a mountain, Grand Serendib Hotel offers a standard room with a great view. The room works well in terms of comfort with a pretty little balcony. We had an excellent buffet breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and polite."

Special mention to the reception staff who facilitated an early check-in - this was much appreciated as I was travelling with a 2 year old which helped with his feeding and rest after a long train journey ..."
