University Area Apart Hotels

"CONS: The room was not very clean. The bathroom fixtures were broken and their was mildew all over the shower. We found random small bugs in the room on 2 or 3 counts. The walls have cracks and damage. Staff were also not super friendly. No one ever smiles at this hotel. PROS: very comfortable bed. Room is very quiet and black out blinds work great. Central location close to shopping and the university. Hotel and surrounding area felt very safe even at night."

"I stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was decent but pricey, also had a late supper in the Chinese restaurant downstairs, it was actually pretty good. My room located at the end of 3rd floor which was nice and clean. One thing bothered me quite a bit was during my staying, the 3rd floor hallway had very strong cigarette smoking smell near the elevator, it was horrible since it's a non-smoking 5 star hotel."

"我們在Expedia上訂房後要求線上刷卡付款。但在check in時要求現場在付一筆相同金額的住宿費，口頭告知線上付款的會再刷退；但是都已經過一個禮拜了、到現在Expedia線上刷卡付款的都還沒刷退、且被信用卡公司出帳了！請處理這個重複扣款的問題。"

"Terrible shower. Bathroom floods because the curtain doesn’t reach the last 12 inches at the bottom! Weak WiFi. The staff was generally helpful but failed to provide information from conference organizers to participants residing in the hotel about transportation to the conference venue. "

"This hotel is in the northwest part of Beijing. It is near the Summer Palace, Beijing University, and QingHua University. It is a 10-15 minute walk to two different subway stops (Yuanmingyuan and Xiyuan on line 4). The staff was friendly but did not speak English. The beds were hard, and the shower had no side boundary, so the water got all over the bathroom floor. The price was good, though it did not include breakfast."
