"After a busy week in Cairns, this was the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. We never tired of looking out over Cow Bay from Daintree Magic - highlight was getting up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony and having a bath with a sea view. The house is gorgeous and has everything you need. Be aware that a huge section of the road from the ferry to Cow Bay is being rebuilt (July 2024) causing lengthy delays. "Newell Beach is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it"

"The house is surrounded by Daintree forest. As described, the bottom floor (kitchen and amenities) is open to nature, and some interesting wildlife came to visit (mainly geckos, but also fireflies and spiders). The location is excellent for exploring the Daintree."

"This property is in a perfect location if you like being close to restaurants, shops, beach, supermarkets and anything else you may need. Even with it being close to main street it is nice and quiet in a very peaceful setting. Not good for anyone who doesn't like/can't walk hills. The unit itself is well equipped although we did not cook whilst there. The pool area is very inviting although the pool is a little on the cold side. Beds were comfortable and the unit is a great size."
