"Quite impressed! The homeowners of Upper Gresham Retreat truly know how to provide for and spoil their guests. The accommodations are well designed, very clean, easy to use, and warmly welcoming. The kayaks are a nice touch as well. We were surprisingly able to spend time paddling around the lake on October 12 and delightedly caught a small mouth bass. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Artist's Cove. Beautiful view of the lake in a tranquil environment. Used the kayaks and ate breakfast on the deck. The cottage was well appointed with comfortable furniture and—true to its name—abundant aesthetically pleasing artwork. Bathrooms were fine and the bed was so comfortable that we slept in every morning! The kitchen is fully functional and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Plenty of restaurants, grocery and things to do within a 5-20 minute drive. Especially recommend Dixie’s Coffee, Little Bohemia and the Guide’s Inn. "

"We had a very enjoyable family vacation at this property. We we’re worried the mosquitoes might be bad and fishing off the dock might be tough because of all the weeds and rushes adjacent the property but the mosquitoes were minimal due to spraying and our grandsons loved fishing off the dock. Maybe ce place for all."

"This property is even more rustic than was expected. We were expecting a rustic fishing cabin, and we go that and a little more. My teen daughter slipped going down the stairs out of the cabin, because they are too narrow and steep. Every window and some of the cabin was covered in cob webs (If I don't have to pay a cleaning fee than I wouldn't mind having to clean the webs up. When we moved the toaster to open the window, there were crumbs everywhere. The online listing has not been updated. There was no air conditioning or laundry available as listed. The electricity in the cabin seems questionable at best. There are multiple extension cords connecting multiple items to just a few outlets. There are no electrical outlets in either "bedroom". One room had no curtains on a window, the other had a ripped up curtain on the window. The bathroom seemed nice with a tub over shower and ample space. The porch was nice as well, and had screens under the flooring to keep bugs out. Nice touch. We did contact the management company right away and were moved to another location that was available. They were professional, understanding, and kind during our stay."

"Quiet, peaceful, beautiful sunrises over the lake. Loons, eagles and decent fishing off the pier. Great location, everything you need including entertainment is within 25 minutes."
