"Clean house and comfortable beds in a nice location, but the main bathroom is fairly small and the shower/bathtub is pretty basic. Some broken blinds in the bedrooms allowed a distracting amount of light from the security lights next door. Good value for the price."

"We enjoyed our time in Kentucky/Ohio. The house was clean, matched the pictures, and was very spacious. We enjoyed the large dinning room table for meals and games. The smaller table in the kitchen was also convenient. Sometimes when we stay places, even though they sleep lots of people, there isn’t enough seating at the table or on the couches and dishes run out quickly. "My wife, daughter and I were in town for a volleyball tournament. The check-in and check-out process was easy, communication with the host was wonderful. The main road was semi-busy all night (Saturday night and not the host's fault), the sidewalks were not shoveled and the queen bed in the 2nd bedroom was a little tight, but everything was very clean and we would book again. The apartment is on the second floor and the TV is on the 3rd floor in a very cozy place."

The apartment exceeded all expectations, offering ample space for my sister and two teens to relax comfortably. "Stay &Play is perfect as there was so much for the kids to do and the adults in the group to play with them. I think we created some core memories- the game room in the garage could be better with a space heater but the basement kept them occupied or we may go back in the summer to enjoy all the property has to offer. Kitchen and bedrooms were great except bedroom #4 only has 3 beds but loved loved the sunroom and its heater and watching the snow. Best neighborhood ever and responsive host!"

"The property looks to be newly renovated and very nice inside. But because of the age of the property, those stairs are super steep. And for a bunch of ladies in their late 50s early 60s it was no joke going up and down them. The only other flaw was the heat disbursement in the house. Again, because it is an old home, the third floor bedrooms got super hot. But again, it is a beautiful home! "

"Our group of youth and adults loved staying in the Golden Goose! We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun weekend. The hosts were communicative, and check-in/check-out instructions were more than reasonable. I bet it would be even lovelier in the spring and summer, to better take advantage of the outdoor space! My only note would be that this is not a great option if people in your group have mobility needs. There are a *lot* of stairs."

"Very clean, centrally located for all our activities, beds were very comfortable and great views of the city."

"Overall, the house was great. Had a maintenance issue which was fixed the next day. After the trip, however, we were charged an additional 135. I asked the Host what it was for, and she suspected it was because we had more guests than indicated which was not true."

"I was taken with the coolness factor of staying in a former factory, but underestimated the inconvenience of having no lobby, nowhere to sit while waiting for room, etc. No early check-in, no late check-out. The room was nice looking but freezing (probably the downside of the brick building. All in all I wish I’d stayed at a more standard hotel. "

"I traveled in early Jan 2025 to visit family in Covington KY. Not knowing the area, I was unsure of what to expect. Covington is an amazing small town and the unit we stayed in was perfect. It was myself and my adult daughter. We both had ample space and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return someday. Todd - Florida"
