Family holiday in Zanzibar
My family and I (total of 14) spent some time in northern Tanzania on safari then travelled to Zanzibar for a relaxing end to the trip. We rented through with the original understanding that we were renting a large house. However it then became clear that we rented an entire small boutique hotel with an incredible staff available to us. Breakfast was included in the price and we had access to the hotel chef for the lunch and dinner meals. There was a local market that we walked to regularly for our lunch fruit and vegetables. We ordered dinner through the hotel and it was fantastic at every meal.
The hotel staff were very helpful in setting up trips for snorkeling and transport as needed. There is security overnight and we felt safe throughout the course of our stay.
This is a beautiful facility with a private pool and lounging area just steps from the beach. The managers are continuing to work on improving the details of the facility.
