"i think everything in this area is overpriced, so not much option anyway, but i did wish a few things would be better. first the hallway carpets are really dirty, they should steam clean them. there is no elevator if you are in the rooms on the second floor and they dont have someone who looks sturdy enough to help to carry them up the stairs. it also requires a pretty far walk. the private onsen is really just a small ceramic tub that only fits one person and the water runs the whole time so...

"We loved our stay at Ryokan Sansui. The view of the mountains around the hotel were amazing with tri-colored foliage. The staff were also very lovely and kind. "The staff provided excellent service. The hot springs were beautiful and relaxing. Both the dinner and breakfast meals were plentiful, served in a nice semi-private setting, and offered items that were unique. My only complaint is that there was an unpleasant smell in the area.
