"The service at the restaurant (breakfast, dinner) was subpar. The service was lacking and needs major improvement. On the other hand, the Nautica Hotel had great service during breakfast and dinner. The difference was day and night. The Purdue property was beautiful and unique. I love the rooms but for someone who is afraid of insects And walking creatures, then look into Nautica Hotel The rooms at Purdue are more like camping huts and no matter how sealed the screened tent s are, Insects will end up finding their way in. All in all, Purdue Is a stunning hotel and the location is unmatched by the seafront and nestled among the forest trees. "

"The apartment was spacious with a great view but the hotel is on top of a hill with limited shuttle bus service to the main shopping / eating centre. It cost a lot in taxis to go to and from the hotel. Wifi was also patchy. No blankets either. If food prices weren’t so high at the hotel you would be more inclined to eat thete"

"Zakros is a little slice of heaven. My wife and I came for our honeymoon and will always treasure our time there. Waking up every morning to see the Mediterranean was a gift, as was the jacuzzi/bathtub on the balcony where we watched sunset over the sea each day. The staff is wonderful and almost too attentive. We came from the USA and they were able to accommodate us in English. The room itself, while not super luxurious, was perfect for our needs: a solid step above glamping but not a full resort. Not only were the breakfasts delicious, but the view was excellent, too. The pool is, surprisingly, a welcome addition, as well. Be aware that Zakros is fairly isolated, which in some ways is a blessing but also makes it hard to see the rest of the area. The staff can help arrange for taxies and boats for transportation to other beaches and towns but they add up and require cash. Overall, we almost want to keep Zakros as our secret so that it won't be too busy when we come back. We loved it there and can't wait until next time!"
