"If you read the reviews, everything positive that was said is true. Literally set in the middle of a vineyard, this is the most quaint, rustic, and accommodating setting a group could hope for. The pool (which is shared with anyone who might be staying at the adjoining house) was a relief, as it was hot when we were there (June 15-28). "We had stayed at this location last September and enjoyed it so much that we returned this year for a longer stay of 16 days. Communication with the owner and her agent was easy and fast. We love the privacy and great views of the vineyards from the elevated location of the house. We watched the "vendage" (picking of the grapes), from the porch while enjoying an outdoor lunch. "Once you’ve got over the single track road experience, you find the gite (part of the owners property) is well equipped for self catering. The bed is fine if you like a soft mattress. Lovely to sit there and watch the sun set with a glass of Henri’s wine. Excellent things to do in the area or to just chill and watch them pick grapes or use the shared pool. If you like your fresh bread in the morning that is a bit of a trek as the nearest boulangerie has shut - a shame."

"Very comfortable.Situated within walking distance of Vacqueyras (about 25mins)with access to a restaurant ,a lovely bakery ,a butchers and general shop.Wine from the vineyard is wonderful.Gigondas,a beautiful village is also within walking distance.Lots of interesting towns and villages to visit nearby and great walking country."

"We had a lovely week in Villa Bergines, located in the vineyards of Vacqueyras, but close to the old village. Villa Bergines is a nice house with a lovely garden overlooking a small vineyard. It is well equipped in a very quiet and secluded spot, which is perfect for relaxation, but also playtime for kids. The pool is nice and spacious and has a good depth which allows for lots of fun diving whether you are an adult, a kid or a teen. The hosts (Henri and his friend Mike) were extremely helpful...
