"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. "

"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "

"The apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was approx 10 min walk to the Old City, had parking and the apartment had everything necessary to make our stay a fabulous experience. "Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues.
