Fatalistic location. Walkable to all the attractions, etc. The staff was over the top, excellent customer service. The breakfast was outstanding as well as the view from the roof top. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family wishing to visit Athens.

The hotel has a nice view of the acropolis from the roof deck and you can walk to the historic sites. But I am not sure how this is 5 star. I did not receive my VIP upgrades, there is no mini bar but you do get a fridge. The restaurant is overpriced by Greek standards 13 € for a glass of wine, 28 € for breakfast and mediocre food. The service at the restaurant was fine. The area is sketchy. Did not feel comfortable walking around after dark. Lots of abandoned buildings and smell of urine. It is a very rundown part of town. Windows are not sound proof and there is strange blue light outside maybe part of the hotel lighting. Bathroom clearly had mold or mildew. The room itself was clean.

"Overall was a good stay. Hotel and room was in good condition. I was upgraded to a better room which was appreciated. Breakfast was good. Only negative was that when we asked for few hours of late check in as our flight was in the afternoon we were asked to pay extra 40 EUR although room was available ..."
