"The hosts were very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable and we enjoyed the whirlpool bath tub as well as the luxurious showers. The yard was fenced in and large which was perfect for our dog. Our only recommendation would be to add some cooking/baking ware and cooking utensils. Other than that it was a perfect stay and we would definitely recommend it. Thanks again"

"Il était convenu que la sœur du propriétaire nous accueille. Personne à notre arrivée. 2h plus tard nous réussissons à joindre le propriétaire en Asie via Whatsapp. Nous récupérons le code de la boîte à clef. Heureusement qu’à 20h un 15 août, le pizzaiolo était ouvert car vu l’état de la vaisselle nous n’aurions pas pu dîner. Le logement n’est absolument pas entretenu ! Liste non exhaustive : - vaisselle en nombre insuffisant - instruments de cuisine gras au possible - rideau de douche jaune...

"We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10"!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. "The sink is in the middle of the room and was stinking. The smell could best be described as stool mixed with dry piss. We could not sleep all night. This hotel was supposed to be our resting spot on the way to Holland but we couldn’t get neither rest nor sleep. "

A bit of a mess!

"This was a good location on the edge of downtown ! It was under renovation we got one of the news rooms unfortunately surrounded by rooms being renovated and it was dusty. Our TV wouldn’t work and after repeated tries we had to give up. We had No phone so had to keep going down to the front desk. We also had no fridge even though there was a place for it. Breakfast and parking were great! The bed had only a flat sheet on it that kept moving and the mattress pad crinkled! No shampoo either!"

Convenient overnight stay hotel en route.

"Our stay was Sat 26 Oct - 27 Oct not as above! A very convenient overnight stay on our way home from Southern Germany. Comfortable, clean and friendly. Two comments made about our overnight stay on our way to South Germany seemed to have been dealt with as we had the chance of an evening meal on arrival and fruit at breakfast the next day. We will stay there again next year as we have done for the past 10 or more years."
