"It's always a pleasure to stay at Royal DeCameron. Security, a variety of dining options, family friendly, etc. However, if you have a light sleep, it'd be a little hard since there's music until about 2 am (at the disco) and people start working very early. Thus, if they'd invest in room isolation, that would be great. Moreover, I don't recommend leaving your valuables without security. Use the safe or carry your lock if you don't want to have a bitter experience. "

"Gorgeous grounds, wonderful staff, safe location, quiet and removed from downtown noise. Rooms had a tropical rustic vibe. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for and it was great! "We checked out after one sleepless night. Our room was so loud inside it felt like we were in a nightclub, but worse, because it was a mixture of 3-4 nearby clubs and bars music. The hostel itself hadn’t even started any live music yet when we arrived. I don’t know how the Hostel can actually charge money for this room, let alone nearly 100 dollars. "Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. I will visit Montanita again, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than Balsa. "

"Not a great spot, but the rooms are nice, they have an additional screen door to help keep mosquitoes out of the hallway where the doors to the rooms are. I didn’t use the shared kitchen & it seemed like the free coffee was just the instant kind. Good for the price, the parking is on the street & I was told to pull half my car up onto the curb, so not ideal, but could’ve been worse. Music from nearby bars & clubs goes a little harder & later into the night than I would like."
