"Peace and quiet assured in this cottage, clean and well equipped. Perfectly situated to visit Beauval Zoo. Keepers of the keys, at local vineyard, extemely helpful and have good wine on sale. Check with owner on electricity surcharge before booking."

"We stayed 4 nights. Nice location with green fields and river at the back, attached to an old mill. Very typical 70s French hotel main building. Easy walk to Chateau and village both of which are lovely. Negatives, carpet stained in main areas in places and euro 9 per person for continental breakfast a bit steep, not included in the rate. "I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Served with courtesy and plentiful. Also a nice daily variation. I would certainly reccomend this place if you are looking for something simple yet good value for money."

"This house was perfect for a group with multiple families, with each room having its own bathroom. Also, lounge and kitchen areas were sizeable. Excellent kitchen facilities and ample cutlery and crockery as well as 2 dishwashers - made a huge difference not having to worry about running out of anything. Pool area very nice, pool good temperature, large bbq and plenty of room for a large outdoor table. Hot water issue was fixed very promptly. Only minor complaint was that the pillows were too deep and not as soft as several of us would have liked."

"Beautiful accommodation and surroundings.our boys enjoyed jumping in the swim pool after a long journey. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. We went out for dinner and returned around 9.30pm and the bar area was closed. It looked lovely and would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink."

"We had a pleasant one night stay here. We enjoyed the modern kitchen which enabled us to make dinner and breakfast. My kids enjoyed the alpacas and donkeys which were on their farm in back of our apartment and the playground. We also used the laundry machine and Lena, the host, helped us with the drying of our clothes. She also provided us with some homemade butter and cheese which was delicious. "
