"This place was amazing, the experience is the reason to stay. The rooms, courtyards and location was such an experience in itself. I realized that this was the end of the road for hikers/bikers on their pilgrimage. I have friends who did this but didn’t realize we stayed at the ending point. The food in the restaurant was ok, nothing to write home about but it was downstairs in a lovely area. "

"The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. Hot shower. Helpful staff. The restaurant didn't start serving dinner until 8 pm. It was cafeteria style with very few options, but it was more convenient than going somewhere else because there isn't much nearby. The pharmacy vending machine was empty, but there were a couple others with snacks. The hostel is along the Camino Frances only 4 kilometers from the Santiago cathedral."

Though, some elements (light fixtures that don’t function, doors that don’t close or make far too much noise) should definitely be addressed by maintenance.
