"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. "We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! "First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. The pool is very small with no seating area Or shade which is a shame we only used it once during our 2 week holiday. We spent our time on the private beach which is beautiful, €28 a day for the four of us. We hired a car to explore the island, Cefalu is beautiful. No WiFi, no restaurant, no shops, no bar with in walking distance"

"Perfect for a relaxing all-inclusive short break. We were there in October and the pool areas, which are lovely, were still busy. There is access to the sea though the beach itself is quite stony. The buffet food at the resort is good quality and provided enough variety during the three days we were there that we didn't feel the need to book one of the a la carte restaurants.
