"Les Aupillous chalet is located in Les Casse, a modern estate about 2km south of the beautiful village of Vallouse, but is set above a main road that is noisy , and quite intrusive (Not quite where it is shown on the map). It has obviously been renovated recently, but I suspect it has been done by the owner as a DIY project, and is amateurish and in many cases badly thought out. "We visited in mid June and found the apartment as described, and especially well equipped. The access and other guidance from Philippe and Francoise was clear and the communications with them worked well. We were just two, one in each taking a room, but the apartment would equally suit a small family or couple with friends. As we came to kayak the local rivers, it was excellently well located, with some of the region's best rivers on the doorstep and many others within a short drive, say 30km....
