"The photos of the property do not do it justice, it is absolutely beautiful. We had a really wonderful stay here, Phillip was very attentive and informative. Lots of things to do in the local area, good sized super market only a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely like to come and stay at the property again. Thanks Phillip for a lovely stay"

"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

"Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

"Such a great house! Will definitely return when the pool is open! As described, very spacious, lots of outside space including pizza oven and bbq. Lots of covered outdoor space for all weathers. Gates close so perfect for dogs. Restaurants/bars/supermarkets only 5 minute drive. So peaceful and quiet and typically French 😊"

"A beautiful villa in a spectacular location. Fabulous stay for families of all ages, a short drive from the lovely town of Niort and coastal paradise of La Rochelle. The facilities were more than pleasing, including the pool (no need to bring floats), a generous games room and expansive garden. "Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. "The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

"We had a wonderful time. Stephane met our early arrivals to let them in and the whole party of 24 - great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins all enjoyed the lovely pool and grounds- with plenty of space for cricket, badminton and board games. Stephane was very helpful when the dishwasher didn’t work- coming up to replace it immediately. We had wonderful weather and really enjoyed Kayaking in Lusignan. We would love to return"
